At eLiteratura, we believe that literature begins with a writer’s voice. Our role is to help that voice reach readers through careful editing, thoughtful book production and professional publishing.
Publishing is much more than printing a manuscript. It is a partnership built on professionalism, trust and respect—for the author, for the work and for the reader.
Publishing Your Book
Your book will be published in a professionally produced printed edition that meets the highest publishing standards.
Based on market demand, we normally produce an initial print run of 3,000 copies. The author contributes only to the production costs of the first 100 copies, while the publishing house finances the remaining 2,900 copies, ensuring that all orders can be fulfilled within the planned print run.
Your book will also be published as a digital edition (eBook), allowing readers to purchase and download it within minutes. Every eBook is protected against unauthorized copying and piracy.
Preparing Your Manuscript for Publication
Our editorial team accompanies your manuscript through every stage of the publishing process, including:
- Professional proofreading
- Editorial review and editing
- Typesetting and page layout
- Cover design
- Text and image preparation for publication
A separate ISBN is assigned to every edition of your book.
Promotion & Distribution
A literary work deserves to be discovered.
We actively promote every title throughout the duration of the publishing agreement and distribute our books through traditional bookstores, online retailers and our worldwide Book by Mail service.
This allows readers in Romania and around the world to discover and purchase your work in both print and digital formats.
Authors receive 17% royalties from the proceeds of every book sold, in accordance with the publishing agreement.
International Editions
Would you like your book to reach readers beyond Romania?
Literature has no borders.
We also publish books in foreign languages, offering translation, proofreading, editorial preparation and professional production for international editions.
Translated books—most commonly in English or Spanish—are printed close to their intended readership: in the United States for North American readers, in England for readers across Europe, and in Bucharest for readers in Romania.
We also promote and distribute these editions internationally in both print and digital formats.
Authors receive 17% royalties from the proceeds of every translated edition sold, in accordance with the publishing agreement.
Editorial Policy
Every manuscript submitted to eLiteratura is carefully evaluated.
We are particularly interested in works that demonstrate literary value, a distinctive voice and a strong connection with their readers.
To maintain the quality and identity of our literary programme, we reserve the right to accept or decline manuscripts that do not meet our editorial standards.
Special Conditions for Established Authors
Established authors, including members of recognised writers’ and creative associations, may benefit from preferential publishing terms and substantial discounts.
